Increasing Competence and Work Opportunities for the Areas’ Residents
We develop a certification-based work and vocational training centre located in Timika, Papua and Luwu, South Sulawesi, through the program Karya Masyarakat Unggul training center.
This will provide opportunities for male and female workers to build their work skills, increase their competence and quality, and their competitiveness according to industry needs, leading to increased economic welfare and boost the local economic development.
Based on our field research, at the moment it is difficult for industries to be able to find residents who can work with the competencies and skills needed by the industries. We believe we have opportunities to contribute to solve this problem and become a bridge for Timika and Luwu residents to attain better potential in the future, by honing and increasing their competitiveness and competence as needed by industries.

We Support These Sustainable Development Goals

Quality Education
This program will contribute to increasing educational quality standards for locals, through certification-based training center institutions, which builds capacity and decreases inequality of skills for locals.

Gender Equality
The training program will provide equal access and opportunities for both men and women. Local women will be supported with the freedom to access training and opportunities to work and achieve financial independence.
