Fast and responsive services as well as safe and appropriate evacuations and interventions when needed will be the key deliveries of our Pratama Health Clinic services.
On the Frontline to Provide Health Service Access for Residents
To complement and increase our service to the residents of remote Latimojong village, we will provide adequate healthcare access by establishing Pratama Health Clinic which will be supported with video and telemedicine consultation system. Pratama Health Clinic will be located in Bajo, which is a densely populated gateway to enter Latimojong.
The clinic will provide outpatient services with facilities such as general clinic, midwifery clinic, dental clinic, emergency room, pharmacy, ambulance, COVID-19 testing, homecare and telemedicine system. It is hoped that with Pratama Health Clinic’s existence as first-rate health care facilities, we will be able to improve the residents’ well-being.
Latimojong residents have faced various problems that cause them difficulties to access health services. Notable ones that we have observed include difficult road terrains, lack of health service providers and talents, limited health facilities and medicine availability, and inadequate communication signals that often hamper medical actions needed by residents.
The mountainous Latimojong area comes with tough terrains: gravelly and steep roads prone to landslides, which makes it difficult for patients to reach clinics and likewise, for ambulance and health service providers to reach patients within time. To solve this challenge, Kinarya will be placing a fleet of double cabin (4x4) ambulances across several villages in the Latimojong mountain, which allows medical personnels to pick up patients who need health service and break through difficult terrains.
In addition, to eliminate communication problems caused by weak signals in the Latimojong area, we will build telecommunications network infrastructure, which can serve as a foundation that facilitates telemedicine consultation within the area. Through the telemedicine consultation system, residents are able to consult doctors from their home with video calls and reduce the need to travel far to the clinics. They can then get their prescriptions faster, provided by our squads of health personnels stationed in the villages. Should the patients evaluated require further medical attention, they will be picked up by our ambulance to reach our Pratama Health Clinic.
